Wole Fayemi is the Managing Director/CEO of Heirs General Insurance. He is responsible for leading the company and driving the achievement of its strategic initiatives.
He has over two decades of experience in the Nigerian insurance industry across insurance sales and marketing, technical operations, change management, and strategic planning.
Wole started his insurance career with Solid Trust Insurance Brokers Limited as an Underwriting Executive, before assuming the role of Manager at Feybil Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Ltd.
In 2005, he joined Cornerstone Insurance Plc, where he headed the Manufacturing, Trading & Engineering Unit of the Head Office Annex, and later worked as Claims Administrator at the Head Office, before moving to ADIC Insurance Limited as Team Lead, Claims. Here, he played a significant role in re-engineering and restructuring the organisation for optimal performance, among other notable achievements. Following that, he joined Guinea Insurance Plc as Group Lead, Technical, before his appointment as the Executive Director, Technical, in 2017.
Prior to joining Heirs General Insurance as the MD/CEO in May 2023, he served as Executive Director, Technical at Old Mutual General Insurance, where he led the operations team to achieve profitable top-line growth and drove the strategic direction of the operations team.
Wole holds a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Economics from the University of llorin and the University of Lagos respectively. Salma Yusuf Mohammed has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry.
Currently a Consultant at Rajab Construction Nigeria, she previously served as the Zonal Secretary in charge of Kaduna, Katsina, Kano, Jigawa, Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara State at the Petroleum (Special) Trust Fund; Assistant Director at the National Poverty Eradication Programme; and the Director, Building Head of Department at the Federal Ministry. of Power, Works Director, Building Housing, Abuja.

Peter Ashade is the Group CEO of United Capital Plc, a leading African financial services group providing capital and financing solutions to African goverment, companies, and individuals. The Group comprises of the following business divisions: Investment Banking, Asset Management, Securities Trading, and Trustee Services.
Peter is an astute investment banker and business leader with 29 years' cognate experience in Nigeria's capital market: 14 years as Chief Executive. He is a well-rounded capital market player having participated in various landmark capital market transactions across all segments of the market and a member of various policy-formulating capital market committees. He is reputed for transformational leadership and outstanding executional capabilities.
Prior to his appointment as the Group CEO of United Capital, Peter was Managing Director/CEO, Africa Prudential Plc (then UBA Registrars Limited). Peter led the transformation of the business from a subsidiary of UBA Plc to the only listed investor services firm on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. More than 15000% growth in profitability was achieved within eight years. He championed disruptive innovation in the registrars' business in Nigeria, pioneering many e-products and successfully achieved the business diversification of Africa Prudential PIc.
Peter holds a Bachelors' degree in Banking and Finance, an MBA in Marketing, and an MSc in Finance. He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School's Chief Executive Program. Niyi Onifade is a seasoned Chartered Insurer with over three decades of experience in the financial services industry.
He has held several leadership roles across the insurance and pension sectors, including serving as General Manager at African Alliance Insurance Limited; Vice President at Pensions Alliance Limited; and ADIC Life Assurance Limited (Now NSIA Insurance) where he served as the company’s pioneer CEO. Niyi went on to serve as Group Deputy Managing Director at Capital Express Assurance, overseeing operations in Nigeria and other five African countries. He later became MD/CEO of Wapic Life (now Coronation Life) before joining Heirs Insurance Limited (then in formation) in 2015 as the pioneer MD/CEO.
In 2020, he was appointed as the first MD/CEO of Heirs Life Assurance Limited, a subsidiary of Heirs Holdings Group. In August 2024, Niyi became the Sector Head of Heirs Insurance Group comprising Heirs Life Assurance, Heirs General Insurance and Heirs Insurance Brokers. In this capacity, he provides leadership, working with other Heirs Insurance CEOs, in driving the execution of the strategic initiatives and transformation plans for the member companies, ensuring that all intra-group synergies are fully harnessed, and ultimately delivering on the performance target for the Group.
Niyi has served as company representative in various industry committees both locally and internationally. In July 2024, he was elected to the Governing Council of the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA), where he contributes to shaping the future of the Nigerian insurance industry. He is also the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Heirs Academy, which was launched to reinforce Heirs Holdings' commitment to institutionalizing leadership and equipping future leaders.
A recognised thought leader in the field, Niyi has authored different publications and he is a visiting lecturer at the West African Insurance Institute (WAII) in Banjul, The Gambia.
He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School and the Swiss Insurance Academy, Zurich, Switzerland. He is a Fellow of both the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) of London and Nigeria. His academic achievements include winning the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and Femi Johnson Prizes for Overall Best Student in 1990. In 2003, he became the first Nigerian, and the second African, to receive the prestigious Rutter Medal Award from the Chartered Insurance Institute, London, for his outstanding performance in the Institute’s Fellowship examinations and research studies, a feat that earned him global recognition.

Chiugo Ndubisi is the Group Executive Director, Investment and Integration, Heirs Holdings, and brings on board over two decades of experience in the Nigerian financial industry into his role on the board of Heirs Life Assurance.
Previously, he served as the Executive Director, Treasury and International Banking at United Bank for Africa PIC (UBA), where he was responsible for diverse business are as, including Treasury Business, Embassies, Multilateral and Donor Organisations (EMDOs), and led operations of UBA's International subsidiaries in America, UK, France and Dubai.

Kehinde Olorundare has over twenty-two years hands-on experience in the Finance and Insurance industry of Nigeria.
He began his career as an Executive Assistant at Industrial and General Insurance Company Ltd., and later worked as a Financial Reporting Accountant at Cornerstone Insurance Plc and UBA Insurance Company Ltd.
Kehinde has functioned in several senior management roles in Finance including Financial Controller (FC) and Group Head, Financial Reporting, Performance Management, and Business Intelligence at Leadway Assurance Company Ltd for 13 years.
Prior to joining Heirs General Insurance, Kehinde was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Cornerstone Insurance Plc where he handled the financial reporting, performance management, financial analysis, taxation, and strategy formulation and implementation of the company.
In his capacity as CFO of Cornerstone Insurance, he was also responsible for the Treasury and Investment arm of the business and the administration department.

Ifesinachi Okpagu is the Chief Marketing Officer of Heirs General Insurance.
She is a marketing communications specialist with over 12 years of experience working in pan-African companies, across sectors such as investment, information technology, real estate, media/production, philanthropy, and insurance. Prior to her recent role, she worked in companies including Inspire Africa Productions (now Ebonylife Productions) as an Associate Producer, Venture Garden Group as a Business Development Manager, and later, Heirs Holdings and its philanthropic arm, the Tony Elumelu Foundation, effectively managing the brands' reputation while driving pan-African awareness.
While working in the Heirs Holdings Group, she launched communications initiatives that significantly grew staff cohesion across the Group and improved brand awareness. She developed the business plan of the digital hospitality arm of Transcorp Hotels Pic, Aura by Transcorp, and coordinated its implementation as part of the pioneer team. In the Tony Elumelu Foundation, Africa's leading entrepreneurship-focused philanthropy, she led the brand's marketing communications activities and initiatives, deepening the brand's reach and effectiveness across 54 African countries and three continents. Aside from leading marketing teams to deliver strategic objectives including brand awareness, reputation management and conversion, she has also successfully launched startups in the creative field.

Vincent Anosike is a Certified Information Systems Auditor with over 15 years of work experience in functions cutting across Audit, Internal Control, Compliance, and Risk Management.
He began his professional career in 2007 with KPMG Professional Services before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
His career in insurance commenced in 2020 when he joined the Internal Audit function at AXA Mansard Nigeria as Head, Audit and Investigation. He subsequently moved to Compliance and internal Control functions within the AXA Mansard Group before joining Heirs Insurance.

Blessing Ezemulue is the Head, Legal Services/Company Secretary for Heirs General Insurance with a cumulative of 16 years experience in core legal sector and as an in-house counsel in the Financial Services sector.
She began her career in 2007 as a Counsel with Olalekan Yusuf & Co (SAN). She then went on to join Citizens Law Office as Deputy Head of Chambers before joining Royal Exchange Finance & Asset Management Ltd where she served for 9 years as Acting Head of Legal & Debt Recovery and Resident Legal/ Compliance Officer, respectively.
Prior to joining Heirs Insurance Ltd, she worked at FBN Insurance Limited as Senior Legal Officer/ Assistant Company Secretary.
Blessing was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2005. She holds an LLB and LLM degree from the University of Benin and University of Lagos respectively, and she is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).

Aniema Ekong is the Regional Director for North Central at Heirs General Insurance, with over two decades of experience in the Nigerian insurance industry. She began her career at Linkage Assurance Plc, where she excelled in marketing major oil and gas businesses and managing risk assessments. Rising through the ranks, she eventually became Deputy Manager, coordinating strategies that significantly increased premium income.
At Heirs Insurance Brokers Ltd., Aniema held roles such as Head of Business Development, and rose from Manager to Principal Manager. She led teams to achieve notable revenue and profit growth, managed significant brokerage income targets, and built strong client relationships across various sectors. Her innovative customer service and business development strategies were key to her success.
In her current role, Aniema oversees sales performance and regional operations, including staff management, and stakeholder engagement across Abuja, Benue, Nasarawa, Kwara, Niger, and Plateau States. She is responsible for strategic planning, budget management, and training the sales team on products and policies, driving the company’s expansion and sales efforts.
Aniema holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Liverpool John Moores University, a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Calabar, and a B.A. (Hons) in English and Literary Studies from the University of Calabar. Saheed is an astute management professional with over a decade of diversified experience in Assurance, Internal Audit, Control, Business Advisory, Risk and Financial Management.
As the Head of internal Audit at Heirs General Insurance (HGI), he is responsible for the overall strategic leadership and management of the Internal Audit function.
Prior to his appointment at HGI, he was the Head, Internal Audit & Investigation at Royal Exchange General Insurance Limited, where he led the transformation agenda to reposition the audit function for improved effectiveness and strategic organisational relevance.
Before his stay at Royal Exchange General Insurance, he was the Head, Internal Audit at Sanlam General Insurance Limited (then FBN General Insurance Limited).
Before joining FBN General Insurance, he worked in the Internal Audit and Control Department at Cornerstone Insurance Plc, where he rose through the ranks from Senior Auditor to become the Team Lead, Internal Audit & Control and eventually acted briefly as the Head of Internal Audit in 2014. He also had a brief stint with the chartered accountancy firm of Ali-Oluwafuyi, Ibisomi, Onibon & Co, where he trained and qualified as a chartered accountant.
Saheed obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting from the Polytechnic, Ibadan and holds an MBA (with a specialization in Finance and Investment) from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Gloria Agugua is the Head of Human Resources at Heirs General Insurance.
She is a seasoned HR Professional with years of experience providing tactical support to business strategy by designing and implementing HR initiatives which align with the corporate strategy and ensure that employees remain committed, motivated and engaged towards the achievement of organisational goals.
She started her career as a Human Resource Analyst at Heirs Holdings (HH) where amongst other things, she supported the design of HR strategy for each business unit and ensured alignment with the corporate strategy of the 4H group subsidiary companies. She was also tasked with managing the recruitment process; sourcing and attracting candidates, amidst other activities.
She holds a BSc in Sociology from University of Lagos, and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM).
